After feeling frustrated that we couldn't find a photographer for our 09/03/16 that didn't require us to have a 'Hilton' income, a coworker suggested MSR. & I couldn't of been happier. From our engagement session to our wedding last weekend Melanie & her mother were wonderful. Melanie even let our daughter get behind the camera and take a few pictures after she showed an interest in what they were doing. They are affordable and I love that they don't 'over edit' images, everyone looks how they really are. If you are on this page for the first time, honestly don't look any farther. You'll thank me later.

Melanie and her assistant were a great choice! Melanie was there to answer any questions we had leading up to the wedding day, and even showed up to our rehearsal to get a better feel for the venue. They arrived early to the venue on the day of the wedding and helped keep us and our families on schedule for our first look and formal photographs. The few sneak peaks I have seen have been amazing, and I know the rest will be too! She is affordable, and extremely friendly and professional too. Check out her Facebook page!

Part of the Reason to My Why:

I use to go through a chest of photos with my Grandfather before he passed away.  The images were so old and most were sepia or black and white.  Not colorful, nothing out of the ordinary.  Just images - yet so powerful.  They told a story to me about family members I never knew.  They showed me what my Grandparents looked like when they were younger - how trees did not line the familiar streets I currently know.  A time that everything was so different than it is now it was hard to imagine.  I treasure those images.  My Grandfather passed away and the chest of photos still remain.  I scanned in every last photo.  From class photos from when they were in school, wedding photos, family photos, first Christmas images.  It did not matter what story it held it got scanned in.  I created discs for family members with these images and shared them.  I had them printed and have duplicate copies.  I also created a scrap book with some of the printed images.  When I pass or get too old to carry on the stories to talk about my Grandpa and Grandma to my Son he will have the photos and hopefully the photos of when he grew up to share with his kids and Grand kids.

I love walking through an antique shop here locally and from time to time they are selling old photos and I feel sad inside that these lost souls do not have an owner or answers to who they are.  It still is amazing to me that they have survived long after their time.  My job, my plea to you is print the images I create for you.  Not all of them, but the ones that when you look at it makes you smile, makes you remember right at that point what happened, tells a story.  That is the one you print.  Your Grandaughter or Grandson will later thank you.
